PAIN
This world we live in, may look in order,
But search again, you’ll find at the border,
A world full of pain,
It’s all around us, like relentless rain,
We can’t help but inflict, it can’t be avoided.
You hurt for no reason, reality’s distorted.
That’s just the way it is,
No way to eliminate, only to embrace this.
In your life, you only see what you can handle,
Push the limits, and your sanity could dismantle.
True pain is unbearable, you can’t live with it,
Yet for some things, pain’s an essential kit.
That’s just the way it is, so they say,
Life without pain, is life without a day.
Life comes and life goes, but,
Pain is forever, heart ripped out and thrown on a cut,
The person who did it, might not even know,
Yet you feel, you never want to feel again, pain’s shadow.
When you feel this way, pain unfurls,
How it works, in our lives whirl,
Pain mostly, a state of mind,
Reroute, leave it behind.
Then you can feel whole again,
But first, know the pain, not faint nor plain.
Like I say the only pain,
Is not knowing what pain truly is, leaving you in vain,
For until then, everything hurts more than it should,
Knowing true pain, nothing past will hold,
